Founded in 1986, Manumit'a fair trade producer in India set out to create an organisation, which would be honest towards artisans, sustaining good relationships based on reciprocated trust.  Today they work with more than 100 artisan groups involving more than 600 people.  They are also running different social projects to provide schooling for artisans children, providing access to pure drinking water in artisans workshops and also capacity building to ensure all of their futures.
